Harrison Ford was shocked by Han Solo’s ‘Skywalker’ cameo

Han Solo’s return was one particular of the big surprises in “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.” when compared to Jesus’ second-coming by Jimmy Kimmel this week.

It’s shocking because Han Solo’s son Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) stuck his lightsaber into pricey previous dad in 2015’s “The Power Awakens,” leaving him pretty dead.

Even Harrison Ford was stunned he could appear again.

“When JJ questioned me to do it, I explained, ‘Are you kidding? I’m useless!’ ” Ford tellls USA TODAY relating his early dialogue with Abrams. “He said, ‘Sorta dead. You can do this.’ He hadn’t published anything at that time. But he stated, ‘This is likely to be excellent.’ So I reported all right. If JJ questioned you do some thing, you’d possibly do it way too. He’s a really persuasive male.”

Ford insists that the motive he came back again was that Solo’s return was pivotal to Kylo Ren’s expansion.

“It was a handy addition to the story and the continuing development of Adam Driver’s character,” Ford claims. “And the likelihood to do another scene with Adam was fantastic.”

We had to remind Ford that his final scene in “The Drive Awakens” with Driver led to a fairly agonizing, drawn-out death scene. He begrudgingly agreed.

“Previous time, it didn’t flip out so effectively for me,” he stated. “But it worked for him.”

And Ford weighed in on the on line discussion over regardless of whether Han Solo returned as a Pressure ghost, considering that the character was not a Jedi or extremely Pressure sensitive. Coming back again as a Drive ghost would have placed Han Solo in league with Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Han Solo (Harrison Ford) made a return in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

“A Force ghost? I don’t know what a Power ghost is,” Ford mentioned, just before going into a whisper so as not to disturb rabid “Star Wars” supporters.

“Really do not notify anyone. I’m not talking loud ample for your recorder. I have no (expletive) idea what a Force ghost is. And I do not treatment!”

So Han Solo.

Ford returns to the screen for “Get in touch with of the Wild” on Feb. 21.
