In a scene caught on movie, Martin Gugino, 75, approached law enforcement officers around a protest and appeared to wave his cellphone. He was then shoved by police, fell to the ground and began to bleed from his head as several officers stepped close to him.
But Trump claimed ― without having evidence ― that Gugino “could be an ANTIFA provocateur” striving to jam police communications equipment who “fell tougher than he was pushed.”
Gaffigan responded by slamming Trump as a “horrible heartless fool.” Then, no doubt anticipating critics who could explain to him to “stick to comedy,” he preemptively utilized the phrase on Trump himself:
Gaffigan also had a remark for fans who may well not be delighted with his change to the “political”:
Gugino is recovering in a Buffalo medical center, the place he is in critical but secure situation. The New York Instances, citing a friend, documented that Gugino is unable to go his head devoid of suffering and envisioned to remain in the medical center for months.
Gugino is reportedly a longtime activist with the nonviolent Catholic Worker Motion, which aids the very poor and disenfranchised. According to the group’s website, customers “protest injustice, war, racism and violence of all sorts.”
