Keto Sugar-Free Pavlova

If you are new to pavlova as a dessert, it’s simply a meringue shell, topped with whipped cream, and berries of your choice.

My Keto Sugar-Free Pavlova also includes a sugar-free lemon curd. It’s an extremely easy dessert to make and loved by most!

To make this pavlova keto-friendly (i.e. sugar-free and low-carb), I have simply swapped confectioners sugar with powdered sweetener and then restricted my fruit toppings to strawberries as berries are a lovely low-sugar fruit.

Blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries are also great options and add to the vibrant look of this dessert.

Although most confectionary sweeteners will do the job, I don’t recommend Xylitol as it has been found to leave the meringue soft and chewy instead of that desired crispy crust.

Some sweeteners that work well for this dessert include:

  • Swerve confectioners sweetener
  • Granulated or powdered erythritol
