EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Zachery Ty Bryan, the actor who played the oldest son on the extensive-running 1990s sit-com “Home Improvement” was arrested in Oregon and faces charges of strangulation and assault.
The Eugene Police Department said officers have been dispatched to a North Eugene apartment Friday evening on a report of a bodily dispute. They observed Bryan, 39, sitting down outside the house and his girlfriend, 27, at a neighboring condominium.
Bryan reportedly assaulted the target, impeded her respiratory, and took her phone away when she tried out to phone 911, law enforcement mentioned. The target declined professional medical aid.
Bryan was booked into Lane County jail right after 1 a.m. Saturday.
A concept left with a feasible agent for Bryan was not quickly returned. It was not instantly regarded if he had a attorney who could communicate on his behalf.
